Vice President and Chief Financial Officer - Schoolcraft College
As a Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Schoolcraft College, I report directly to the President and oversee a team of 120, maintaining a diverse portfolio of responsibilities that includes College governance, strategic and financial planning, funding, facilities, community relations, and industry and community partnerships. Driven by a long-term commitment to education, I ensure that programs and decision-making in all of the areas I oversee support and advance students, faculty and the learning environment. In my role, I have significantly expanded the physical footprint and community engagement of the College, simultaneously ensuring its financial stability and durability.
President of Six 501(c)(3)(4) Organizations
These 501(c)(3)(4) Component Units have allowed Schoolcraft College to diversify its revenue stream and invest, grow, and eventually bring funds back into the College to support core academic initiatives. I have attended to the business proceedings of these fully-functioning entities outside of the College's normal operating hours. The initial investment made by the College in these organizations has almost tripled as of 2019 and continues to grow.
Each of these 501(c)(3)(4) Organizations has its own Board of Trustees, yearly audits, and financials. Under my guidance, these entities have also entered into many partnerships with companies such as St. Joseph Mercy Health Systems, Masco Corporation, Mercy Elite, Wolves-Hawks Soccer Club, and more.

College Advocate for 2018 Millage Proposal
Presenting to Joint Capital Outlay Committee, Lansing, MI
In 2018, Schoolcraft College received a $10 million Capital Outlay Award for renovation of the College’s Applied Science building from the State of Michigan’s Department of Technology, Management, and Budget and Joint Capital Outlay Committee. This Award was a direct result of a report produced by the College’s Finance and Business Offices, of which I am the CFO.
I have continued to ensure the success of the renovation project by overseeing changes to the project’s proposed layout, building strong relationships with the College’s health partners, and staying in close contact with State administrators. Additionally, I have had several opportunities to present to the Joint Capital Outlay Committee in Lansing to advocate on behalf of Schoolcraft College.
